ABOUT US

Moms on a Mission is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating change and improving the community by supporting youth, mothers who lost a child to gun violence and senior citizens. The goal of Moms on a Mission is to uplift, encourage, and empower mothers who lost a child to violence, in addition to providing beneficial resources to aid in the healing process. We offer mentorship, nutrition, life skills, and guidance for youth through programs and activities that foster character development and leadership skills. Moms on a Missions holds our seniors in high regard; therefore, we have launched several initiatives specifically designed for senior care and wellbeing.

Whether through word of mouth, media coverage or social media, Moms on a Mission has received an outpouring of support for our efforts which has helped us grow exponentially in service to the community. To date, we have inducted over fifty (50) grieving moms into our organization, organized/participated in over 80+ community service events and garnered recognition from local, state and national news stations across the country. We continually seek to affirm and encourage our moms by giving them a renewed sense of purpose and providing opportunities to reclaim their ability to give good things to others.  We strive to provide a source for comfort and motivation, understanding and challenge.
